    Afang Soup!!!

Afang soup, eaten mostly by Efik, Ibibio and the majority of the people in Nigeria. Lol, come and beat me. Afang leaves and a leafy vegetable called waterleaf or spinach( America).

Afang soup will make you go the extra mile to get it lol.. for example, I went to three African stores in Louisville Kentucky checking for Nigeria Afang leaves. For y’all African in other states who can get Afang leaves at the snap of your fingers well-done ma/ sir.. anyway let me continue with the soup that made me stay with my cheating Ex for a long point of time. Don’t judge me lol.

Afang soup can make you change your birth name to Afang soup if care is not taken. Lol

Afang soup is one of the delicious dishes I have eaten in Nigeria. One of my friends told me that this soup is cooked by some Cameroonians.

I know y’all gonna ask “What the buzz about Afang Soup?” Well, Afang also called Eru in Cameroon and Okazi in other parts of Nigeria is a flavorful green leafy vegetable that West African used in making different soups and stews.

Afang soup is mostly made by the Efik and Ibibio people and can be put together with another common green leafy vegetable called spinach. In America, I used Spinach as substituted for Afang soup only because it’s convenient.

Afang soup is healthy and remains one of the most delicious stew in ( Nigeria) Africa.. if you plan your next trip to Nigeria make sure you grab your plate of Afang soup from a local restaurant!

    Monica!
